Receive and Assemble

Equipment is received from our Suppliers and Assembled per order. An accomplished Assembly Chain and Rigorous QC Produces a good calibre Unit Ready to Be Issued to our Customers. Non Stock units may have a lead time of up to approximately 12 Weeks

RRU-Retail Returnable Unit

RRU is seen as the start of any customer Supply Chain. Whether you use the GLS RRU or you choose to have the RRU on your Site. GLS will offer you a solution which is as simple or intricate as you, our customer, chooses it to be

Vendor

From the RRU we issue Equipment to Vendors. We track this using G-track to ensure that balances are kept in check, as well as being able to supply billing for the various vendors based on the Rental model selected by you

Customer Supply Chain

Equipment is either received back from Vendors or from the RRU. As the Equipment is moved through the Customer Supply Chain we are able to either implement solutions and processes to track the Equipment or make use of EDI to integrate Data, generated on your Internal Management System, into G-track. Using this information we will be able to manage your equipment through the Supply Chain

RRU-Retail Returnable Unit

Returnable Packaging or MHE is one of the only elements in the supply chain that completes the cycle throughout the entire supply chain. On the return leg to RRU the Equipment is Received, checked & cleaned to ensure that Equipment Being issued meets our QC Requirement

Maintenance

If any Damages are Identified on the Return leg to the RRU, the equipment is sent to maintenance. GLS repairs the units and ensure that the Equipment is in good Working order for the next Cycle
